The Animals are Planning a Revolution - Vote for Judy!

Pet Rescue by Judy, located in Orlando, Florida, is desperately trying to relocate. In an effort to do so, we are going for a long shot - asking Extreme Makeover to help us build a new facility, where she is welcomed. She can't even adopt animals from Orange County shelters, where she resides, because she does not own a "shelter". Judy rescues by relying on her wonderful volunteers and dedicated foster homes.
Rescuing dogs and cats for over 15 years, Judy has re-homed approximatley 1,500 pets each year.

Our nation's shelters are overcrowded. Dogs and cats are being euthanized throughout our country because of irresponsible owners who have failed to spay and neuter their pets, because of irresponsible breeders, and yes, because of the dreaded puppy mill industry.
In some states, dogs and cats are still being gassed (kill-boxes) with carbon monoxide. With the help of other magnificent volunteer groups, these animals that are on death row, are pulled from high kill-shelters and transported to Judy and other highly respected rescues throughout the country. So you see, Judy's efforts effects animals nationwide, not just in the Central Florida area.
If you have signed our petition, Judy thanks you, and we ask that you forward our request to as many friends and family that you can, to help us reach out and spread the word.
We can't change the world overnight. Lawmakers and voters must turn this nightmare around. But, in the meantime, Judy and her solid supporters can only focus on liberating these dogs and cats and re-homing them quickly, and professionally.

I was at Petsmart …
I was at Petsmart recently and saw your animals out for adoption and picked up one of your fliers. What a great organization! I just adopted a cat a few weeks ago from SPCA and it opened my eyes to the needs that so many animals have locally. I think it's great what you're doing! I posted a video of my cat to show potential adopters how much fun these critters can bring into your life if you give them the chance. All the best!

Yes, adopt don't shop!!! Pets from pet stores ALL come from PUPPY MILL BREEDERS KNOW MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU! We only adopt and every dog has been neglected and/or abused and it's amazing with consistent love, attention and structure/discipline how much they improve and are so happy. Sure, blame the three year old! You're so funny! But you are right. Every donation helps. When we rescue a cat, by the time we spay/neuter, vet check and get it's shots, our average expense is $123. Oh, and now it expects to be fed and have cat litter! Our adoption fee is usually $125. Not a lot of leaway here. And so many of our pets require additional medical care. We depend on donations outside of adoptions to make ends meet. We love our supporters!

Ok, I am replying to myself just to make a correction on my math. The correct figure would be $35,000. Sorry about that but sometimes it is hard to concentrate with a 3 year old screaming in your ear. Regardless, whether it be $3,500, $35,000, or $350,000 ANY amount of donations are always greatly appreciated and desperatley needed. ALL money goes DIRECTLY to saving these beautiful cats and dogs lives and meeting all of their health needs, including spaying/neutering which is of most importance!

Although we originally limited signatures to Florida Residents to demonstrate local support, we now hope for a show of nation interest! Thank you so much! Rest assured that we are so small that we don't have levels. Your donations will go directly to the saving of pets. Before we adopt out a pet, we vet check, spay/neuter, bring it up to date on shots, and microchip it. For cats, this runs on average $123. Since our cat adoption fee is $125, you can see how tight we are. Plus Judy is known as the rescuer who will take the sick pets, the ones who have heartworm, etc. All of these expenses depend on donations. Thank you!
