Does anyone own a Havanese dog?

I don't, but my sister has one. It's female and it's name is Madra, which is Gaelic for dog (I think).
It's cute if you like little dogs, but she barks a lot.

One of my best friend owns a Havanese (or I should say, a Havanese owns him). He's an adorable dog who loves people and is very outgoing.
I would only suggest your getting one if you can spend lots of time with it, Havanese hate to be alone.
They have very silky hair rather than fur so they're great for anybody with allergy problems.
And the Havanese I know seldom barks. Some of what people may think are breed traits can be individual behavior patterns.
