    Havanese Puppies

The Havanese is a great choice for a dog.  It also goes without saying that the absolute best time to get your Havanese is when he is a puppy.  The younger, the better.  Especially if you can train him from a very young age, your Havanese will be a friend for life.

You will have a lot of work to do if you decide to bring home a small Havanese puppy.  You’re going to have to make sure that you and your home are ready to accept a new pet, especially one with the unique needs of a Havanese puppy.  Purebred Havanese puppies are not the easiest dogs in the world to train and get along with at first.  They can be very needy at times, and can be especially difficult to housebreak.  If you are patient and kind though, you and your new dog can work through all of these issues together as they come.

Bear in mind that you will also have to face the monetary challenges of making sure that you can afford both the dog himself and all the supplies that are necessary to care for and feed a small Havanese pup.  While the Havanese is a great pet and a very desirable dog, it is highly unethical to bring one home at all if you are not going to be able to properly care for and feed it.

There will be difficulties.  More importantly, there will be good times.  You also have in store all the fun and excitement of naming him, getting to know him and welcoming him into your life.

The most important thing of all though, is the health and safety of your new Havanese pup.  So, first and foremost, make sure you take the proper steps towards good Havanese puppy care.
