Brushing Tools And Supplies

For brushing your Havanese, you’ll need a slicker brush or pin brush and a comb. Brush the body first, saving the face for last. You might want to pretreat the hair around the face with tangle remover so that it is easier to brush when you get to it. We’re assuming that you’re not grooming your pet in order to show him. If you are, the process is more complicated and should be done daily in order to keep the dog’s coat in top condition. The hair around your Havanese’s paws need regular trimming as well. After a dunk in the tub, towel him semi-dry then blow dry to finish your Havanese bath care.

In a pinch you can cleanse your dog’s teeth by dipping your finger in garlic water and rubbing it across his teeth.
