Create A living Space For Your Havanese

Havanese dogs are small and can live happily in a small apartment setting. As with any dog breed, they require a living space that gives them their “own” space. Plus, you want your Havanese to have a comfortable life so make sure that their living space has the proper items such as a dog bed and dog bowls.
Use the following guidelines to create the perfect living space for your Havanese:
• A Havanese needs his own space for sleeping and eating. This space must be quiet retreat for them. If you don’t provide an inviting space just for your Havanese they may become irritable and nervous.
• A great place to create an eating area for your dog is either in the kitchen or the bathroom. A tile floor is much easier to clean up than carpet in the event of a spill.
• An effective place to create a sleeping area for your dog is to place their bed or crate in a quiet corner of a room. Your dog needs to feel secure, safe, and undisturbed.
Verify that the sleeping area has sunlight to keep the dog’s spirits up and that it is free from drafts. You don’t want your dog to freeze while they are trying to sleep!
